The annual Mountain of Hell mountain bike race is definitely not for the faint of heart. It pits 1000 riders in a mass start down a snow-covered trail at the French resort of Les 2 Alpe. As you can imagine, with that many participants, things get a little chaotic. You can check out what it was like at the 2019 edition of the race in this video.
It follows mountain biker Damien Desbrosses, who thanks to a mechanical issue finished last in qualifying, as he tries to go from 100th place to first. Does he make it? You’ll have to watch to find out, but let’s just say its an pretty epic ride along the way.
