Zimbabwe has a secret weapon when it comes to protecting its precious wildlife. That weapon is an all-female group of rangers who have been trained by former Australian special forces operatives These women are tough, dedicated, and ready to take on all challenges when it comes to dealing with poachers. In this short documentary—produced by none other than James Cameron and directed by Maria Wilhelm—you’ll meet the Akashinga team and discover why they are so dedicated to their cause. It is a beautiful and moving film that I highly recommend to those who love Africa as much as I do.
