It has only been a little more than a month since Eco-Challenge Patagonia made its triumphant return on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service, but already we’re catching a glimpse of what is to come.
Viewers are only now starting to recover from the intense reality show, which featured dozens of four-person teams racing across some of the most remote and difficult terrains that Fiji has to offer. But if you thought things would get any easier with the 2021 edition of the race, think again.
Living up to its billing as “the world’s toughest race,” next year’s teams will travel to Patagonia to take on an even more difficult course. This video was released last week and provided an early sneak peek at what we can expect when the racers square off at the southernmost end of South America. As you would expect, the landscapes are both stunning and ominous.
