Adventure is on a roll lately(Speed Hiking), now offering up this article that profiles speed hiker Matthew Hazley, who recently hiked the Pacific Crest, Continental Divide, and Appalachian Trails, one right after the other, in one hiking season. That’s 7525 miles for anyone scoring at home. In 239 days no less. Impressive. Most impressive.
The profile is a great read, with Matt offering up some great advice for anyone attempting a similar hike. I’d love to one day hike each of those three trails, but I’m not sure I’m up for doing them all consecutively.
