Is it just me, or does there seem to be a lot of “Top Five and Ten” lists lately? If they weren’t all so fun and interesting, I wouldn’t have to keep posting them I suppose. But here’s another one, just in case you haven’t had your fill yet.
Stephen Regenold, the Gear Junkie himself, has a great article up at MSNBC on the Top Ten Best Rock Climbs in America.
You’ll find several of the usual suspects, including The Nose over in Yosemite, which is about as classic as it gets. Other climbs include the Casual Route in Rocky Mountain National Park, and Royal Arches also in Yosemite.
The list varies pretty greatly from super challenging, pro-only routes to easier, good-for-beginner climbs as well. The list was put together through a survey of some of the time climbers in the country, including Lynn Hill, Will Gadd, Timmy O’Neal, and more.
