SummitPost.org, which is a great resource for climbers, hikers, and mountaineers a like, has launched a new site at www.mbpost.com to offer the same great resources for mountain bikers.
mbpost.com is described as a “collaborative content community” for mountain bikers who can post photos, trip reports, events, and more online. It’s also a place to post “how to” articles and share your own knowledge and expertise. You’ll already find a number of trail reports from all over the World published, with more to come already.
The site is built on the same underlying technology as Summit Post, which means you probably already know what to expect. In time, it should be a great resource with a database of trails for all levels of riders. On top of that, Summit Post has a top notch community, with active forums, and very helpful people. That same sense of community will no doubt carry over to the mountain bikers who will hang out on MB Post.
Keep an eye on the site. It’s in the beginning stages right now, but will likely grow quickly. It should become an invaluable place for mountain bikers everywhere.
