Teva Mountain Games Begin Tomorrow!

Starting tomorrow and running through the weekend, the Teva Mountain Games will highlight some amazing athletes, eclectic art, and cool music in Vail, Colorado.

The center piece of the Games is the athletic competitions of course. Athletes will compete in cycling, trail running, paddling, climbing and much more. Of course, there is also the Ultimate Mountain Challenge which combines skills in multiple disciplines in a sprint level adventure race style.

Of course there is plenty of other things to do while attending the Mountain Games which have grown into a festival of sorts. You can enter a photo competition, go to adventure film school, or attend a showing of the Mountain Film Tour. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be concerts to attend and an active nightlife.

The Games run through the weekend, ending on Sunday. I’m sure over the course of the next few days we’ll get some interesting stories and results from the competitions. Should be a fun time to be in Vail! Then again, when isn’t it?
