Just because it is now May doesn’t mean you necessarily need to put away those skis and snowboards just yet. For example, check out this video, shot just a few days back by Backcountry.com athlete Ian Provo who found plenty of fresh powder to play in despite what the calendar says.
According to the Goat Blog, where I originally came across this video, Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons have received as much as 7 feet of snow in the past few weeks, providing ample opportunity for some late season skiing. Enjoy the video. Summer is nearly here and it’s going to be a long off season. 😉
