Way back in November I wrote about a North Face sponsored expedition to the African country of Chad. The expedition sent Alex Honnold, Mark Synnott, James Pearson, and Renan Ozturk into the African wilds to climb rock towers that had never been attempted before. They brought Jimmy Chin along for the ride to take some photos, and at the time I noted how amazing the place looked. Now, it seems that film on the expedition is in the works, and it looks fantastic as well. Check out the teaser trailer for the movie below. Can’t wait to see this one!
Thanks to The Goat for the tip on this one. Rocky says the filmmakers are busy trying to get this done for the Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride this May. Seems like one more reason why I should go to that event.

As a Canadian of Chadian origin, i really appreciate your contribution to the discovery of the beauty of my native country.In fact there are many places in Chad that will blow your mind despite political instability of the country.
