Yesterday marked the start of Expedition Africa, a 550km (340 mile) adventure race that is taking place this week in South Africa. The race, which is the only qualifying event for the AR World Championship in Coast Rica, features coed teams of four running, biking and paddling their way through breathtakingly beautiful African backcountry.
