Last week we posted a story about the Volvo Ocean Race launching its seventh stage on a grueling run from New Zealand to Brazil that passed through the Southern Ocean. At the time we said that conditions could be incredibly rough throughout this leg of the race, testing the crews at every turn. In this video, youโll get a chance to see the types of conditions that theyโve been dealing with as the Southern Ocean lives up to its reputation. It is a wild and unpredictable part of the world and this will certainly be the defining stage of this yearโs competition.
