Back in 2012, legendary climber Michael Kennedy wrote an open letter to his son Hayden that was published in Alpinist Magazine. It was a poignant, moving, and inspiring letter telling him to explore the world around him and embrace life’s big adventures. As many you know, Hayden tragically lost his life in 2017. Now, that letter serves as a reminder to us all and is part of this trailer for the recent 5Point Adventure Film Festival, founded by Hayden’s mom Julie. The short video is also incredibly moving with Michael’s words set to some impressive visuals that will likely leave you in tears. Check it out below.
