In the third, and final, episode of the Lessons from the Edge series of videos we return to the Great Himalaya Trail to join ultrarunners Ryan Sandes and Ryno Griesel as they go in search of the fastest known time (FKT) on that long-distance route. The trail, which stretches for more than 1500 km (932 miles), runs the length of Nepal, passing through remote mountain villages, snow-covered passes, and endlessly rugged terrain throughout. Previously, Sandes and Griesel had begun to hit a wall, questioning whether or not they would achieve their record. But this time out, they attack the trail with renewed vigor, putting the FKT in sight. Do they make it? Watch the clip to find out!
