An Everest Base Camp trek is a bucket-list item for many adventure travelers and if you search online you’re sure to find plenty of stories and videos chronicling that journey. Most will tell you how beautiful and rewarding the hike can be, but not all of them will give you the real scoop on how challenging it can be as well. That’s where this clip comes in. It is a short film about a couple’s trek to EBC, featuring plenty of fantastic scenery and wonderful experiences while en route. But, it is also realistic in the sense of how exhausting the trek can be too, not to mention the impact that altitude can have on the body along the way. Still, this is one of the all-time great hikes in the world, and well worth doing, just go into it fully prepared and you’ll be fine.
