Across the globe countries and communities are struggling with how to recycle and reuse all of the plastic waste that we as a species are generating. In Kenya, a group of industrious fishermen have found an inspiring solution. The group has created a wonderful (and colorful!) boat made entire from such waste and it now serves as a symbol of what can be done to repurpose these materials in a truly useful and meaningful way. The video above tells the story of those men and their boat.
