At 30 meters (98 feet) in height, the Catalonian climbing route known as Perfecto Mundo doesn’t overwhelm anyone with its length. But with its sport climbing rating of 9B+, it is certainly a considerable technical challenge. In fact, only a handful of rock climbers have ever been able to complete the route, although that doesn’t stop them from trying. Late last year, climber Stefano Ghisolfi gave it a go, and as you’ll see in this video it took every bit of his strength and skill to complete. Beautiful and well crafted, this video is an ode to climbing in general, and to Perfecto Mundo specifically.
