Over the past couple of weeks one the most unique adventure races in the world took place across Europe. Starting in Salzburg and continuing on to Monaco, the 2019 Red Bull X-Alps tasked competitors with covering the distance between the two cities on foot and by paraglider. This makes it a race unlike any other that I know of and it is a lot of fun to watch unfold. This yearβs winner was a familiar name for those who follow the event, as Christian Maurer claimed his sixth X-Alps victory. But how did he manage to reach the finish line?
