We all know that Gore-Tex is one of the materials that is commonly used in our favorite outdoor gear. We also know that it tends to be the standard that all other waterproof, windproof, and breathable fabrics is compared to. Gear that uses Gore-Tex tends to be a bit pricer than those that don’t, which naturally begs the question as to whether or not it is wroth the cash.
