For my money, the Barkley Marathons just might be the toughest race on Earth. What do I base that on? The fact that since it started back in 1986, only 15 people have ever been able to finish the race. That doesn’t stop ultrarunner and breast cancer survivor Nicky Spinks from trying her luck at the event, and this year she had the unfortunate luck of being accepted to compete. This video tells her story and what it was like for to take on the most infamous running event in the world.
