The Adventure Podcast Episode 103: An Interview with Rebecca Rusch

On this week’s episode of The Adventure Podcast we welcome endurance athlete, mountain biker and Queen of Pain Rebecca Rusch to the show. We spend more than an hour talking to Rebecca about her career as an adventure racer and mountain biker, how she stays motivated during the pandemic, what its like to ride your bike up and down Kilimanjaro, and her personal journey along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Vietnam as chronicled in her Emmy award winning film Blood RoadMy cohost Dave Adlard and I have been fans of Rebecca for years and it was amazing to finally get a chance to interview her and talk shop for awhile. We even get the scoop on her next big challenge, which she hasn’t officially unveiled yet.

Prior to chatting with Rebecca, Dave and I first take a look at the latest Adventure News with stories about a the world’s first “Everesting” triathlon, the coronavirus reaching remote areas of the Amazon, and polar bear who climbed aboard a Russian fishing ship. Later, in our weekly Gear Picks, I review the Gurkhali pant from Sherpa Adventure Gear, while Dave shares his impressions of the Yakima FullTilt bike rack.
