15 years ago surfer Patch Wilson first caught some waves off the West Coast of Ireland. Amidst that wild, rocky, and untamed shoreline he fell in love with the place. So much so, that he now calls the region home. It isn’t always an easy place to live—and certainly not to surf—but as you’ll see in this video, it has a lot to offer in other areas. And when those big waves do arrive, they are unlike anything else on Earth. Beautifully shot and told, this is an impressive short film, even for those who aren’t surfers themselves.
