The National Geographic Adventure Blog has kicked off 2009 by listing their Top 10 Adventure Stories from 2008. The list doesn’t just consist of some arbitrary articles however, it’s the top stories ranked by the number of hits on the National Geographic Adventure Magazine website.
Most of the stories making the list are ones that you’ve probably already read, but it’s a nice round-up of what was covered on the Adventure Blog last year. The list begins with Steve Casimiro’s review of the MacBook Air (he was pretty enthusiastic about it, to say the least), and moves on to their review of the Top 50 Ecolodges in the World, the Best Places in our National Parks, before ending with the Top Adventure Travel Companies in the World.
All in all, a pretty eclectic mix of stories and a nice snapshot of what Adventure readers are most interested in. Lets hope that 2009 brings another great set of stories like these to fulfill our desire for adventure.
