Last year we followed adventurer Kyle Henning as he traveled across Africa on his Low2High expedition. Kyle began his journey at Lake Assal in Djibouti, which is the continentβs lowest point at 155 meters (508 ft) below sea level. He then proceeded to ride to Tanzania and scale Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa at 5895 meters (19,341 ft).
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the completion of his expedition, Kyle has released a video of his journey, which gives us a great sense of what it was like to travel 2980km (1851 miles) through the African countryside. Check it out below.
