Earlier this year the climbing community lost two bright young stars when Mark-Andre Leclerc and Ryan Johnson went missing in Alaska. Back in 2016, Leclerc traveled to Baffin Island with Brette Harrington to Baffin Island in Canada however, where the duo put up two new routes on the challenging Great Sail Peak. This video takes us along for that adventure, giving us a glimpse at the talent that Leclerc held, while also serving as tribute to his life. He as a climber who pushed himself and the sport in new directions, and he will certainly be missed moving forward. Check out the beautiful short documentary, brought to us by Arc’teryx, below.
