Video: Expedition Kayaking on Patagonia’s Three Toughest Rivers

Patagonia is generally regarded as a fantastic destination for backpackers, hikers, climbers, and mountaineers. It also happens to be an outstanding location for paddlers too, offering up some wild and challenging rivers to explore by kayak. That’s exactly what Nouria Newman, Eric Boomer and Ben Stookesberry went in search of when they attempted to paddle the three toughest rivers in Argentina’s Patagonia region and document it in this video. As you’ll see, this turned out to be quite an adventure, with plenty of beautiful landscapes to explore and turbulent rapids to run. This is expedition kayaking at its finest and a truly awe-inspiring adventure.

  1. They went looking for fast water and they found it and then they started swearing! Good to see that they haven’t completely lost their sense of fear.
