One of the biggest stories of 2018 was without a doubt Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison making the first full ski-descent of Lhotse. The so-called “Dream Line” down the fourth highest mountain in the world had eluded ski mountaineers for decades, but Nelson and Morrison were able to pull it off at long last.
This video, takes us along for that expedition and it is a fantastic one. The Himalaya come alive in this 23-minute spectacle that is as much about the two climbers as it is the mountain itself. What ever you do, don’t miss this amazing short documentary.
