If I told you that a trail runner squared off against a BASE jumper to see who could get up and down the iconic Romsdalshorn mountain in Norway, who would you guess would win? What if I told you that the trail runner in question was none other than Kilian Jornet? That’s the premise behind this video, which sees both Kilian and wingsuit pilot Torn Erik Heimen go head to head in one of the most unique clips I’ve seen in awhile. The challenge is simple, get to the top of the mountain and back down to the finish line as quickly as you can. Of course, we all know that Kilian is going to be faster on the trail, but can he build up a big enough lead to hold off the BASE jumper once he takes flight? You’ll just have to watch to find out.
