It’s Wednesday and sometimes we need a little extra inspiration to help get us through the week. Today, that inspiration comes in the form of this video, which introduces us to Thabang Madiba, a trail runner from South Africa who is breaking down barriers in that country. Not only is Thabang the first black South African to represent his country in international competition, he also does so without many of the things trail runners commonly need to help them compete at a high level. Most notably among them is a mountain to train on, as there aren’t any to be found close to where Thabang lives. He also doesn’t have a physio, chiro or dietician either. He just runs. And he runs very well.
