We’ve seen inspirational videos and stories about Nepali ultrarunner Mira Rai in the past, but this one provides more insight into her story. Born and raised in Nepal, she was like many of the other girls there with few prospects for improving her life.
But as it turns out, Mira has the ability to run really far and really fast, which has vaulted her onto the international running scene, garnering sponsors and loads of attention along the way. Here, she shares some insights in how that all started, going from growing up in the remote Himalaya, to becoming a rising star in endurance sports.
